Higher vocational students shoulder the important mission of supporting the development of national enterprises. The rapid rise of China's economic strength is inseparable from the unremitting efforts of thousands of skilled workers in various industries. As higher vocational students, in addition to training excellent vocational skills and learning solid theoretical knowledge, having a strong physique should be the prerequisite for us to be competent for the front-line work in the future. Taking Xi'an Railway Vocational and Technical College as an example, the author makes an in-depth investigation on the nutrition and health status of higher vocational students, finds out the existing problems, and puts forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures from the perspective of higher vocational students, so as to effectively improve the physical quality of higher vocational students, actively respond to the development concept of "healthy China 2030", and better shoulder the responsibility of national construction in the future The important tasks lay a good foundation. [Key words] college students' nutrition, health, physical quality, social development. 1、 Research background Since the reform and opening up in 1978, great changes have taken place in our motherland. Our economic strength and comprehensive national strength rank among the top in the world, and our international status has steadily improved. Over the past 42 years, China's economy and society have achieved great historical development, laid a solid material and institutional foundation for the realization of the two centenary goals, and ushered in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. With the continuous improvement of living standards and quality of life, health has gradually become the focus of Chinese people. The physical health of college students has always been the focus of 1physical education in Colleges and universities. In the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, it is proposed in the strategic requirements of "cultivating new people of the times who take on the responsibility of national rejuvenation". "Contemporary college students are the witnesses and participants of the great process of national rejuvenation, and they are also the new force of the socialist cause."1Colleges and universities shoulder the important mission of delivering a steady stream of 1high-quality skilled talents for the construction of the socialist cause. Of course, the professional knowledge level and professional ability of college students are important, but the physical quality is the foundation of development. Without a strong physique, how can they shoulder the important task of building a socialist modern power in the future? College students, as the main force of socialist economic construction, are at the critical moment of adolescence, which is the most vigorous stage of growth and development. Frequent mental activity, intense physical activity and quick thinking ability are important periods of physical and mental development. In order to better adapt to the future work intensity and environment, healthy body and regular eating habits are very important for us. We have investigated the students in Xi'an Vocational and technical college, and found that the work and rest of higher vocational students are generally irregular, the nutrition is not balanced, the psychological pressure is relatively large, and the body is generally in a sub-health state. The different living environment of college students also leads to the difference of students' physical quality. Family economic level, ideology and other factors also affect students' physical quality and nutritional health. What's more, due to the lack of good work and rest and eating habits, lack of sports, leading to decreased immunity, frequent colds or the emergence of some chronic diseases and so on. In the face of heavy studies, fierce competition in the workplace environment, as well as the strict requirements for our work ability in the future, we are unable to carry out efficient learning and be competent for the front-line work intensity due to the lack of good physical conditions. In the longer career period in the future, we have no way to carry out follow-up continuing education and self-improvement. Health problem has become an important problem that we must face and solve. 2、 Research object for the common problems of Higher Vocational Students' nutrition, we did a sample survey on the nutritional health and physical fitness of 50 students in the school of electronic information and transportation of Xi'an Railway Vocational and technical college. 2.1 student's point of view 2.1.1 from the perspective of nutrition and health, only 20% of the students insist on three meals a day. From the perspective of dietary pattern, only 30% of the students can ensure the regular meals, and only 25% of the students never miss any of the meals. The regularity of boys is less than that of girls, more than 50% of boys can not eat breakfast on time, and have the habit of eating midnight snack. Boys prefer sports and computer games, once addicted, it is easy to delay eating time. In addition, college students have a high degree of randomness in their diet. 60% of college students never pay attention to the nutritional collocation of their diet. More than 50% of them mainly consider the principle of simplicity in their meals. If they are not willing to spend too much time on their meals, the diet of the other half is easily affected by their mood.
